Elizabeth L. Riles
Elizabeth Riles is a founding and the managing partner at Bohbot & Riles. Ms. Riles received her J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law, U.C. Berkeley and has been practicing law for the last 12 years. She specializes in employment discrimination and personal injury cases. She also specializes in human resource consulting, business litigation and mediation. She has successfully represented employees against a wide variety of businesses and government entities, in matters of race, national origin, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, disability and gender discrimination, cases of sexual and racial harassment, retaliation, whistle-blowing and wrongful termination.
Ms. Riles is admitted to practice in the State of California, the United States District Court, Northern District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Ms. Riles is a member of the State Bar of California, Oakland Chamber of Commerce, California Women Lawyers, California Employment Lawyers Association, Queen’s Bench Bar Association, Alameda County Bar Association, Charles Hourston Bar Association, Law School Consortium Project, Northern California Collaborative and the California Dispute Resolution Council. Ms. Riles also serves as the Secretary of the Boards of the SEEDS Community Resolution Center, the East Bay Performing Arts and its division, the Oakland Youth Orchestra's Board of Governors.
Finally, Ms. Riles also serves as a Judge Pro Tem in the San Francisco Superior Court and volunteers as a mediator for the Alameda County Superior Court Small Claims Division.
